Treat Pouch Reviews
Looking for a dog training treat bag that works well?
When training, you need to be able to reward your pet quickly and easily when he does the right thing. A dog treat pouch leaves your hands free – and your dog snacks handy. But which one to choose?
It is important to choose the right treat for your dog when you are training, or he won’t be motivated to do what you want.
Treats should be small and tasty – find out more about how to choose training treats for dogs.
I like small bags because they don’t get in my way when I am doing other things. I don’t wear a belt so I usually look for a clip that will hook onto my waistband.
This pouch is perfect for me. I do find the drawstring a bit fiddly but I usually end up leaving the bag open.
If you have a large dog – or want to carry lots of treats, then this bag may be too small for you.
This bag has three ways you can wear it – around the waist, clipped to a pocket or through your belt loop.
The main pouch has a stay-open spring hinge top that snaps shut to keep treats securely stored.
It has two extra pockets – so good if you are out and about lots. It is a nice sturdy bag that carries a nice amount of treats.
The Outward Hound bag has an adjustable waist strap with quick-release buckles.
It is not as sturdy as the Guardian Gear bag, but it has an internal divider to keep items separate – as well as a mesh pocket on the front.
