1. Find a Recipe

There are lots of recipes on this site for you to try. I have made all of them for my Coton-de-Tulear, Luigi.

If you are not a very confident cook, then it would be better to start with something easy. If you don’t even really want to have to cook (or you don’t have an oven), then try these easy homemade snacks. If you would like to try baking, then here is a list of easy treat recipes.

2. Get together the ingredients you need.

Look at the recipe and see if you need to go shopping! You need to collect together the ingredients and equipment that you need.

If you are new to baking the try to follow a recipe exactly to start with. You can always branch out and get creative later.

Take care that your pet will like the ingredients in the recipe – or that he doesn’t have any dog food allergies with anything used. I have lots of information about wheat free dog treats if you need it.

3. Get baking!

Once you have got everything together it is time to start baking.

It might help you to read through these tips on how to make dog treats before you start so you are sure you know what you are doing.
